A former UK Defence Minister with responsibility for all scientific and medical matters, Lord Moonie, studied medicine at the University of St. Andrews and the University of Edinburgh before entering politics.Lord Moonie developed interests in science, medical research, advanced technology, energy, defence, foreign policy, and civil contingencies.For three and a half years as a Minister in the Ministry of Defence, Lord Moonie was responsible for all medical matters and the MOD’s science and technology activities, including the Defence Science and Technology Laboratories, Porton Down, and the Defence Diversification Agency.
Lord Moonie implemented wide-ranging changes to the deployment and use of military reserves in the Territorial Army (TA). Additionally, he was responsible for setting up the MOD Veterans Agency.Lord Moonie previously sat on the European Advisory Board of Northrop Grumman and the Board of Party Gaming, now BEWIN.Lord Moonie is a special advisor to Air-A’s Executive Chairman.

Additionally, Vanessa supports the AAAM team with Air-A’s and AAAM’s airport, aviation, and related activities in Mexico. With a background as a graduate flight attendant and extensive travel experience in Asia, Europe, and South America, Vanessa brings a diverse perspective to her role.
